Heavy Duty vs High Volume Training

One approach emphasizes intensity and recovery. The other emphasizes volume and frequency. Which works best depends on your ability to recover and apply maximum effort.

My biggest change wasn’t in the gym at all. I quit crashing around 2-3 PM every afternoon.

Been lifting over 25 years. Every few years there’s a new “miracle,” but mitochondrial research is one area I actually pay attention to.

Sleep got better before anything else. Once sleep improved, recovery naturally felt better too.

I ran NAD+ alone for almost two months. Added MOTS-c recently and I actually feel more motivated to train.

Hard to separate the effects if your diet changed too.

I compete in classic physique. During prep I noticed I was bouncing back from higher cardio volume a little faster, but I wouldn’t call it dramatic.

I pinned MOTS-c before fasted cardio. Subjectively felt great, but that’s impossible to quantify.

Recovery only improved after I cleaned up my sleep. I don’t think either peptide fixed bad habits.

Old school lifter checking in. If your nutrition sucks, don’t expect MOTS-c and NAD+ to rescue you.

Felt smoother during long hikes too, not just lifting.

    Not at the injection.

    At the mixing stage.

What’s the biggest reconstitution mistake you’ve seen?

I’ve tried BPC-157 from more than one source and my experience wasn’t the same each time. Some seemed to perform better than others while a few didn’t meet my expectations at all.
That made me wonder whether factors like product quality, sourcing, storage or individual response play a bigger role than many people realize.
