Serious question.
Men today have:
→ unlimited food
→ unlimited entertainment
→ constant dopamine
→ less movement
→ less sunlight
→ less physical struggle
At the same time:
low energy, low motivation, low testosterone, anxiety, and depression seem more common than ever.
Do you think modern comfort and overstimulation are actually hurting male hormones and mental drive?
Or is that exaggerated bro-science?
Do You Think Modern Comfort Is Destroying Testosterone Levels?

I had low thyroid for years and didn’t realize it. After treatment, recovery between sessions improved a ton.
-
Not gonna lie, I expected some magical transformation. Felt better overall, but the physique changes were pretty gradual.
-
Personally, fixing my thyroid helped me stop spinning my wheels in the gym. Strength finally started moving up again.
-
Results were solid for me. Less water retention, better pumps, and I looked less “puffy” after a few months.
-
YMMV, but I didn’t see major physique changes. My mood and energy improved way more than my body composition.
-
I’ve run into a lot of people blaming everything on thyroid issues. In my experience, training and diet still matter way more.
-
For me it was a game changer. I was constantly tired before, and once that was fixed I could actually train hard consistently.
-
Mileage may vary, but I dropped around 15 pounds over several months after getting my thyroid under control.
-
Didn’t do much for me physically. I felt healthier overall, but my body looked about the same until I cleaned up my diet.
-
As an older lifter, optimizing thyroid health helped with recovery more than anything. Less dragging myself through workouts.
-
Honestly, I didn’t realize how much water I was holding until my thyroid was treated. Face and waistline tightened up noticeably.
-
I wouldn’t call it a fat-loss hack, but it definitely removed a roadblock. The effort I put into training started paying off.
-
I’ve seen better endurance, better sleep, and a slight recomposition effect. Nothing overnight, though.
-
I’ve run it before under my doctor’s supervision. Energy levels skyrocketed compared to where I was before treatment.
-
For me, the biggest physique improvement came indirectly. Better thyroid function meant better workouts, and better workouts led to better results.
