Is astaxanthin’s 5-alpha reductase inhibition claim legit, or is it mostly meme / BS?

Mostly overblown. It’s not finasteride in a capsule.

There’s some weak evidence, but calling it a real 5-AR blocker is a stretch.

Astaxanthin’s legit for antioxidant stuff, not hormone nuking.

If it actually crushed DHT, everyone would be talking about it — not just memes.

Any 5-AR effect is probably mild at best, not noticeable for most people.

People feel something and assume hormones could just be inflammation going down.

Good supplement, wrong expectation.

Internet turned ‘possible influence’ into ‘DHT killer’ real fast.

If you’re scared of DHT, astaxanthin ain’t your shield.
