I get plenty of lysine from meat and dairy but the others are harder to estimate
Honestly never tracked norvaline intake from food Most of it seems to come from supplements
My diet covers lysine well but I still add citrulline for gym performance
I eat a high protein diet so arginine and lysine are probably decent but I supplement anyway
Citrulline is one of the few ingredients I actually notice during workouts
Not sure about exact amounts but I doubt diet alone gets me optimal levels
Good question I think diet provides a foundation but targeted supplementation can fill the gaps
Most athletes I know supplement these rather than relying entirely on food
I noticed better pumps once I added citrulline regardless of my diet quality
Getting enough protein probably covers lysine and some arginine but not necessarily performance focused amounts
Watermelon is about the only food I regularly eat for natural citrulline
Iβve never specifically monitored norvaline but itβs interesting to learn more about it
My pre-workout covers citrulline and norvaline so I donβt worry much about diet sources
I think most people underestimate how little citrulline they get from food.
