Cardio improved a ton lifting not so much

Older guy here.
Allergies got worse after 50.
Still haven’t found anything that consistently works besides avoiding triggers

I’d rather wait for stronger evidence than chase every new compound

My incline bench barely moved but my squat got humbled 😂

I noticed my endurance between sets got better even though I was weaker

My strength came back pretty quickly once calories increased after the cut

Cardio became ridiculously easy compared to before

Squat suffered but pull ups got way easie

Down 70 lbs now still lifting four days a week and haven’t had any major strength crashes

I had a couple rough weeks early on then everything leveled out🔥

Reta didn’t kill my gains but calorie deficit did

Pretty much maintained everything except bench, Bench dropped around 15 lbs while bodyweight was down over 30

My pressing suffered first, legs actually held up pretty well

The scale dropped faster than my strength ever did
